Acanthosaura aurantiacrista have dagger-like nuchal spine with bright yellow coloruation in males and orange-yellowish colouration in females.[2]
Acanthosaura aurantiacrista reside in Northern Thailand's evergreen forests on hills up to at least 600m elevation. [2]
