Background

USA Today called this song Loveless' signature song. In fact, Memorex was so taken by her voice on this song, they were going to use this recording for one of their "Is it live or Memorex?" commercials, but it never came to be. The song charted for 4 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart, reaching #43 during the week of 8 June 1987.
