A Ghosh was the sixteenth Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 15 January 1985 to 4 February 1985. His term of 20 days is the shortest served by any Governor of the RBI.[1]
Ghosh was the chairman of Allahabad Bank before his appointment as the Deputy Governor of the RBI. He was also a Director of the IDBI and was on the governing body of the National Institute of Bank Management.
