The Archdeacon of Warrington is a senior ecclesiastical officer within the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool. The Archdeaconry of Warrington was originally created on 10 August 1847 [1] in the Diocese of Chester and transferred to the Diocese of Liverpool when the latter was created on 9 April 1880.

The Archdeacon is responsible for the disciplinary supervision of the clergy [2] within the seven area deaneries: North Meols, Ormskirk, Wigan, Winwick, Warrington, St Helens, Widnes
