Barfabad-e Olya (Persian: برف ابادعليا), also Romanized as Barfābād-e ‘Olyā; also known as Barfābād,[3] is a village in Howmeh-ye Jonubi Rural District of the Central District of Eslamabad-e Gharb County, Kermanshah province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,343 in 304 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,671 people in 443 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,792 people in 527 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
