Benedict Hunt-Davis (born 15 March 1972) is a former British competition rower and an Olympic Champion.
Ben was educated at Shiplake College, Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire
Hunt-Davis won a gold medal in coxed eights at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, as a member of the British rowing team, the only British crew to have won this event since 1912. [1]
Hunt-Davis is a keynote speaker and owns Point8 Coaching, a corporate development company. He also works for the British Olympic Association and he is the Chairman of the 2011 World Rowing Junior Championships.
He has co-authored a book "Will It Make The Boat Go Faster?" with Harriet Beveridge. [2]
On 3rd June, 2012, Ben was amongst the rowers on the Gloriana (barge) with the Olympic Torch at the start of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pagent.[3]
