Chukwuka Ekweani better known as CKay is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer signed to Chocolate City.[1] [2] He is most famous for his international hit "Love Nwantiti" (full title "Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)".

Career

In 2014, he relocated to Lagos and got the opportunity to work with Chocolate City Music starting early 2015.[3][4] Named one of the Nigeria's "Top 10 rising stars making waves in 2020",[5] CKay is a musician who has made tracks in a variety of genres including Afrobeats, R&B and dancehall.[6] He has two EPs: Who the Fuck Is CKay? (2017)[7] and CKay the First (2019).[8][9]

He released "Love Nwantiti" with a remix featuring Joeboy & Kuami Eugene gaining big fame. A North African remix featuring ElGrandeToto became popular in the Maghreb countries and in Germany. A French remix featured Franglish, a German remix featuring Frizzo, Joeboy & Kuami Eugene, the Spanish version with De La Ghetto, the East African remix featuring Rayvanny and a South African remix featuring Tshego & Gemini Major. The song became an international hit charting in the UK, many European charts, Australia, New Zeland and African charts. It also appeared in the Billboard's U.S. World Digital Song Sales chart.
