Hararit (Template:Lang-he-n) (lit. "mountainous") is a communal settlement in Galilee, Israel. It is administered by the Misgav Regional Council. In 2008, there were 95 families living in Hararit.[1][2]
Hararit is located on the crest of Mount Netofa in the Lower Galilee. It was established in 1980 by a group of Transcendental Meditation devotees. The economy is largely based on tourism. Some of the residents operate bed and breakfast establishments. More Netofa, a company that produces gourmet olive oil, honey and spice mixtures, is based in Hararit. [3]
