Kala (Russian: Кала; Rutul: Кӏелед) is a rural locality (a selo) in Amsarsky Selsoviet, Rutulsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. Population: 408 (2010 Russian census);[2] 427 (2002 Census);[3] 272 (1989 Soviet census).[4] There are 3 streets.[5]
Kala is located 9 km northwest of Rutul (the district's administrative centre) by road. Kufa and Amsar are the nearest rural localities.[6]
