It includes teams from the NCAA Division I-Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), NCAA Division I-Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), NCAA Division II , and NCAA Division III .
The lists below reflect official results after vacated and forfeited games.
The following list displays the records for the football programs with the most wins in the NCAA through January 1, 2024. The last tied game in college football was in 1995, with OT rules changing for the 1996 season.
