Ng Ling Ling is a Singaporean politician who has been elected into the 14th Parliament of Singapore with 2020 Singaporean general election.
Ng Ling Ling graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, as well as a master's degree in public administration from the Australian National University.[1]
On graduation, Ng Ling Ling was in the banking industry for six years. Thereafter, Ng was the managing director of the Community Chest (Comchest) for five years, stepping down in June 2018.[1][2] Ng was the former chief of future primary care and director of community engagement at the Ministry of Health's Office for Healthcare Transformation.[1]
Ng Ling Ling was fielded in 2020 Singaporean general election to contest in Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency on People's Action Party's ticket against Reform Party.[3] Ng's running mates are Lee Hsien Loong, Darryl David, Gan Thiam Poh, Nadia Ahmad Samdin.[3] On 11 July 2020, Ng and team was declared to be elected to represent Ang Mo Kio GRC in the 14th Parliament of Singapore, garnering 71.91% of the valid votes.[4]
Ng Ling Ling was awarded 2018 Her World Woman of the Year for her work in the Comchest.[2]
Ng Ling Ling is married, with one son.[2]
