Nora Maria Attal[2] is a British-Moroccan fashion model. She has been on the cover of the September issue of British Vogue, Vogue Arabia, and Vogue.[3][4][5] In January 2019 Attal ranked as top 50 models, and in 2022 listed as an Icon by models.com.[6]
Attal was born to Moroccan parents Charhabil "Charlie" and Bouchra and grew up on in Battersea, South West London before moving to Surrey.[7] She would spend her summers back in Morocco where she’s from. Attal attended Ewell Castle School, where she completed A Levels in History, Psychology, and Art.[8] She later took acting classes at the Baron Brown Studio in Los Angeles.
Attal was discovered by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth during a casting at her school for the JW Anderson campaign.[9] She has modelled for Prada, Elie Saab, Acne Studios, Burberry, Loewe,[10] Oscar de la Renta, Jason Wu, Stella McCartney, Nina Ricci, Chloé, Altuzarra, Céline, H&M, Prabal Gurung, Longchamp, Tommy Hilfiger, Mary Katrantzou, Topshop, Hermès, Roberto Cavalli, Michael Kors, Sonia Rykiel, Fendi, Chanel, Valentino, Dior, Versace, and Alexander McQueen.[11][12][13]
In 2016, models.com ranked her as a “Top Newcomer”.[14]
As of 2020, Attal lived in Wimbledon, London. In 2022, she married Ecuadorian cinematographer Victor Bastidas in Ibiza, having been in a relationship since 2019.[15]
