Our Youth Social Community was chaired by Sohan Pappu from Andhra Pradesh.[4][5]

Target

Activities of Our Youth Social Community (OYSC)

OYSC initiated social welfare initiatives for poor sections of India.[7][8][9]

OYSC members distributed sanitary pads from shops run by well-known brands to women and girls in less privileged areas of society.[10] Components used to create these store-bought napkins contain plastic, chemicals, and wood pulp which are doing more damage than good.

Awards and recognitions

Our Youth Social Community has received an award from Northeastern University in Boston through its Suraksha project. It was published on the official website of Northeastern University in Boston.[11]

Our Youth Social Community has given a TEDx talk on how a community can come together to create a wider and real difference.
