Quickstart
Picture of the Month: Innsbruck's Hofgarten is a protected park. On the edge of the Old Town or Altstadt it borders on the Hofburg, Kongresshaus and Tyrolean State Theatre. During its 600-year existence the park, which has an area of 10 hectares, has gone from being a river meadow to a Renaissance garden and a Baroque garden before finally being landscaped as an English garden about 150 years ago..
