This needs an introduction. Maybe the background section can be turned into one. Comatmebro (talk) 06:30, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
I've tagged this for speedy deletion. There is no encyclopedic content here, and almost all the content is a lightly edited version from http://www.npdb.hrsa.gov/topNavigation/aboutUs.jsp. There are no independent sources discussing the notability of this data bank. The article was created by the agency that runs it (with no declaration of paid editing, I note) apparently for promotional purposes. Jytdog (talk) 14:41, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --162.99.233.159 (talk) 14:53, 27 February 2015 (UTC) The National Practitioner Data Bank is a U.S. Government entity, not a commercial business, and as such, is not "advertising" or "marketing" its services, but rather, providing important public information. It is true that the author works for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency that oversees the Data Bank, we tried to be as straightforward and objective as possible.
