West Yorkshire Derby - a generic term for any sport[edit]
I don't think the claim that "The West Yorkshire derby is a series of football matches taking place between three English football clubs from West Yorkshire" is correct. It's any match between West Yorkshire rivals in any sport. The whole entry needs re-writing to reflect that imo. The little bit of wording on Rugby League doesn't do it justice. Leeds United v Bradford City averages about 18k the last few games. Leeds Rhino's v Bradford Bulls is 16k. Same level of interest and same scale of rivalry.
