The Violent is an American rock band from Akron, Ohio. They have released one EP and one studio album, 002.TV on May 19, 2023.
When Red Sun Rising announced an indefinite hiatus on February 28, 2020.[1] Ryan Williams went on to form the band New Monarch, and members Mike Protich, Dave McGarry and Pat Gerasia formed The Violent.
They released their first music video for their single "Fly on the Wall" on May 22, 2020.
