Thomas Conyers (ca. 1666 – 4 October 1728) of Elemore, County Durham was an English Member of Parliament. [1][2]

He was the fifth son of Nicholas Conyers of Boulby, Yorkshire and a cousin of John Conyers.[3] He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford and entered the Middle Temple to study law in 1686.

Conyers was the Member of Parliament for Durham City from 28 July 1698 to 1 December 1701 and from 24 July 1702 to 18 August 1727.

He served as Equerry to Prince George of Denmark from 1704 to 1706 and founded Conyers' School, Yarm.

He married Elizabeth, the daughter and heiress of Thomas Hall of Elemore. They had a daughter Elizabeth who married fellow MP, George Baker and inherited the Elemore estate.
