or INTRISIT for short!!!

Wikipedia being as neutral and factual as can be since its creation on 15 January 2001 has grown into a stealthy yet important voluntary cultural phenomenon and has exploded in ways no one thought of. Websites and info come and go over time, but with the inter-collaboration with the Internet Archive and its flagship asset, the Wayback Machine, well-referenced info posted and stuck in here for decades and decades to come might just resurrect former faulty and/or irreparable human lives! You may never know!!

Since I entered myself in here on WP on the last minute of 27 March 2022, I've been monitoring and still continue to monitor articles and info created and/or maintained by proven sock-puppets, blocked/banned users, conflict of interest enthusiasts and spammers in here — some promising, others useful and also the non-useful ones have been converted as such so they could fit in.

Milestones

[edit]

1. Until my account creation, the article under the "Barbie (film series)" title housed the info on films and other media linked with or connected to Barbie here until Bianca Anne Martins moved it to "Barbie (franchise)" on 2 July 2022 in the wake of the creation of my first-ever article, Barbie: It Takes Two, earlier that year on 16 April. Ever since previous users, whether currently-inactive, blocked or banned, have had their inputs structured in a way that would to this day question the validity of that title standing the test of time, I and Bianca Anne Martins have civilly argued about the new title, through which I invoked my second requested move to send the article back to the "Barbie (franchise)" article so as to conform with the other similar articles like "Toy Story (franchise)", "Frozen (franchise)" and "High School Musical (franchise)". Lockejava (currently inactive) and TheFallenPower stressed that the "Barbie (franchise)" title should focus on the expansion of dolls and accessories related to Barbie, thus agreeing to redirect the title instead to the current agreed unified target of "List of Barbie's friends and family". TheFallenPower moved the article again to "Barbie (film franchise)" and Bianca herself then moved it to the final title, "Barbie (media franchise)". I briefly revived the "Barbie (film series)" article twice only for Bianca to revert them both. Still unsatisfied and relatively new to the village pump at the time, I invoked my first and to date only request for comment so as to get her attention on her actions. The result was her decision to revive a former used title, list of Barbie films, as the new location for the article on solely the films with plot summaries. According to page histories, the "list of Barbie films" title is one of 2 titles, along with the "Barbie films" titles, conveniently created by Frog47 as redirects to the article under the "Barbie film series" title, which was then moved by Woodensuperman to "Barbie (film series)" per WP:NCF. Currently, all 3 aforementioned titles redirect to the article now at the "List of Barbie films" title, as well as currently un-notable Barbie films whose current/former state/looks don't conform/comply with WP:NF.

2. Disambiguation and its primary topic rule are paramount here on WP for ambiguity reasons among visitors and newer users. Here are 4 reasons to justify why:

3. On 10 January 2023, I came across the 5th-interface homepage of CAFOnline.com website owned and operated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). I felt I had a glorious chance of updating pages and archived currently-dead links to articles connected and related to the CAF competitions, including the African Nations Championship, the Women's Africa Cup of Nations and the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations. So far, I've archived up to 200 links, half of which I did myself. As cruel as WP:Link rot makes clear, in anticipation of the then-upcoming 2023-24 season in line with other competitions globally, CAF updated/upgraded/modified their website on 25 July 2023. As much as I was and still angry at myself for not archiving every speck of link from that interface until then, it makes me wonder why WP:There is a deadline exists even though WP:Deadline will mostly be cited. The most affected article stemming from my anger in question is the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

What to expect from me in 2024!

[edit]

1. Monster High had numerous articles on its web series and its films (List of Monster High films), the latter serving as the current target for all but 3 active standalone out of 17 overall entries, excluding Monster High: The Movie and Monster High 2 as they are recent ones. The primary reason for a redirection of this former articles to the list article is the non-existent inclusion of references/refs for standalone notability, just like Bovineboy2008's assertions on some articles on Barbie films. From 3 January until the end of this year, expect this to change as I'll have them back on WP with refs to show for them.

2. Speaking of and returning to the scope on Barbie films, with the launch of the Ruffle software on the Internet Archive, I have another chance at bringing back information, websites and refs not previously added to them in-article to do just that that I ain't going to pass up!! Even articles which were created with nothing in them which are also currently redirects to their entries at the "List of Barbie films" article will have their rightful standalone places in this project.

3. On the scope of CAFOnline and articles on African football competitions for the 1995 to 2023 time frame, expect me to be more active in them! Whether a revival or resurrection.

4. As many visitors and Wikipedians with whatever user rights can agree with me, internet access, especially the lucrative broadband, is a serious challenge outside North America, Europe, China and Australia. I feel that the 2022 introduction of broadband in my geographic location (geolocation) in this awareness era makes me help out the Countering Systemic Bias WikiProject as one of the few Africans to improve WP articles.

HAPPY 2024, WIKIPEDIA!!!
