Important information for minors

Skylark Publication has been publishing books and magazine since 1970. Although we keep a low profile, Skylark Publications has received a patronage from renowned poets like Amrita Pritam in the past. Selected poets like Herbert Kuhner (Sected poems from Austria)and Ajsa Zahorovic (Selected poems from Bosnia and Herzegovina) have contributed and edited for us. Instead of international poetry in translation, Skylark now concentrates on the South-Asian Diaspora authors and poets. Its imprint Word Masala has a patronage of Lord Dholakia, Lord Parekh and Debjani Chatterjee, MBE. Word Masala imprint enjoyed recently a book launch at Nehru Centre in Strand. The authors and poets Skylark and Word Masala promotes are Piranha Sachetti, Mina Chopra, Shanta Acharya, Uma Param, Divya Mathur, Safi Ahmed, Usha Akela, Editor-at-Large, Muse India, and many others. Word Masala also has promoted through its Agency and Scouting work authors like Abhijit Dasgupta and Priyank Sachetti. We are also embarking soon on a translation project with a book from Hindi by Divya Mathur, and a similar undertaking from Bengali by Debjani Chatterjee.
