Hi Andrea, I removed a couple of warnings from this page that were given by mistake. The problem was that (for example) here you quoted some text with guillemets, French-style quotation marks «like this». The person who left you the warning didn't recognize the quotation marks, since in English we use a different style of quoting "like this". So, he thought you had copied text improperly from another publication, which would of course be a big problem. The confusion at ANI is straightened out now, and it would be great if all problems on Wikipedia were this simple to fix ;-). We're sorry about any upset. However, to avoid further problems and to follow normal English writing style, I hope you can please remember to use the English-style quotation marks ("...") instead of «...» in the future.
Regards

Informational note: this is to let you know that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Regards, The Resident Anthropologist (Talk / contribs) 17:29, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Howdy, I think we have had a bit of misunderstanding with "Guillemets." I just wanted to appoligize for dragging you to ANI over this misunderstanding. The Resident Anthropologist (Talk / contribs) 00:02, 7 March 2011 (UTC) has extended an olive branch of peace.
Thanks Francis, now I understand.--Andrea Jagher (talk) 19:21, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I fully agree with this idea/proposal: meta:Wikimedia_Forum#Call_for_resignations.
The key point is that admins are no way allowed to apply censorship/denial of service to a part or to the whole Wikipedia without having previously:
All the italian sysops that decided the motu proprio strike have betrayed the faith of the users who chose them as admins. We now have to get them resign their sysops status and, altogether, decide a proper guideline that every admin will be compelled to follow when dealing with hot topics such as the freedom of Wikipedia itself.
and moreover
Talking ad Jimbonem is only a strong suggestion, but please get in touch and let's start a proper democratic - horizontal process where we will decide proper guidelines and proper reaction to this shameful event. ZipoBibrok5x10^8 (talk) 23:54, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
