Hello, I am about to create an article(a biography), but i saw that the pages of the title have recently been deleted/removed, the last action was by you, so i just wanted to ask if there is any specific reason behind it(coz many articles that people tried to create about the same person have been removed), is it like they were writing incorrect and unreliable information there? or is it controversial? Just a quick query that I’m hoping you can help me with…

Back on 2/1/24 you reverted a promo/copyvio edit on the page for Legal & General. The text of that edit is now no longer on the article history (presumably due to the copyvio).

The reverted editor has now declared a COI and has attempted to make a complete rewrite of the lead part of the current article via a request at the talk page (i.e. following the correct process).

I wonder if you could take a look and let me know if the new request bears any similarity to the material that you previously reverted.

Many thanks for your help here. There has been quite a lot of disruptive promo editing on that page (and also the page of the company's former CEO) over the last 18 months, mostly by redlink SPAs and IP addresses. Hopefully it will now end, as declaring the COI doesn't make it any easier for them to introduce promotional text.
