Visa policy of Russia[edit]

Hello.

Please pay attention to the following information:

1. Georgia. Visa-free regime for all types of passports is under the presidential decree from 15 May 2023. (See "Agreements" - "Unilateral visa waiver") The visa policy map for diplomatic and service passports does not contain this information.

2. Monaco. Visa-free regime for diplomatic passports is under the presidential decree from 3 September 2017. It has not been canceled. (See "Agreements" - "Unilateral visa waiver") The visa policy map for diplomatic and service passports does not contain this information.

3. Hungary. The Russian government has suspended part of the agreement on visa-free travel. Holders of diplomatic passports need a visa from 1 March 2023. Visa-free regime is still applied for holders of service passports.

http://publication.pravo.gov.ru/document/0001202303020026

4. Croatia. The visa free regime for all types of passports was in force until 2013. (Under the agreement between USSR and Yugoslavia).

The current agreement was signed in 2010 and entered into force in 2013. Visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and service passports.

Croatia joined the EU in 2013. The agreement on visa-free for holders of diplomatic passports between Russia and the EU began to apply to Croatian citizens in 2013. The visa-free regime for diplomatic passports was regulated by two agreements (Russia-EU and Russia-Croatia).

The current bilateral agreement was amended in 2019. The article on visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and service passports has been replaced by an article on visa-free regime only for holders of service passports.

From 2019 visa free for diplomatic passport under the agreement Russia-EU and for service passport under the agreement Russia-Croatia. The Russia-EU agreement was suspended in 2022. The Russia-Croatia agreement is still in force.

I will change the information in the table.

5. Iraq. Visa free for diplomatic and service passports will be in force from 23 January 2024.

6. Andorra. The visa-free agreement for all types of passports still applies.

7. Vatican, Bulgaria and North Macedonia. There is no reliable information.

8. The main map. Transnistrian passport holders do not have visa-free entry to Russia.

Thank you. With kind regards. Amitaabha (talk) 00:34, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello.
1. In the case of Monaco, Monaco has unilaterally granted exemption to Russians.
2. The districts and maps of Hungary and Bulgaria have already been modified. So let's not comment on these.
3. MM.. Because Andorra already has a visa exemption.. I don't know what the problem is.
4. I'll not comment about Iraq because it has nothing to do with its editing for Iraq. :)
5. There is a (conditional) immunity agreement between North Macedonia and Russia, but North Macedonia stopped providing immunity to Russians after the Ukraine war.
6. In the case of Georgia and Transnistria, this is the part I missed. I'm going to edit the map.
7. For other agreements or waivers, please see the following links:

Thank you. With kind regards. Lades2222 (talk) 04:12, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Monaco. "Monaco has unilaterally granted exemption to Russians." We are talking about Russia's visa policy. Russia provides visa-free entry for holders of diplomatic passports of Monaco from 3 September 2017 to the present. You deleted this information and changed the map. Why?
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Visa_policy_of_Russia&diff=1187756121&oldid=1187666432
I don't speak English. I use a translator. This may distort the meaning. Sorry about that. Amitaabha (talk) 11:55, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Croatia. "The agreement was revised in 2019. However, that does not mean that the diplomatic passport exemption itself has disappeared." This literally means that the exemption from the diplomatic passport itself has disappeared from this agreement. I don't understand why you don't understand. Could you please explain your logic to me. Amitaabha (talk) 12:06, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
So I gave you a link. This information was provided by the Russian consulate website. Find and read about Monaco and Croatia there.
According to the site, "For Russian citizens – within 180 days and without visa for up to 90 days – unilaterally." It written.
And 2019 was a time of few diplomatic problems between Russia and Croatia.
But the regular diplomatic passport was 'removed' and only the official passport remained? It doesn't make sense in common sense.
And in the revised law, there is no mention of the abolition of 'diplomat passports'.
(Of course, diplomatic passport was 'suspended' after the Ukraine War. (not removed))
This article was written based on information provided by the Russian consulate website.
So please don't complaining to me and contact the Russian MFA (or embassy). Lades2222 (talk) 13:12, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Artsakh[edit]

Can you write please to the administrators so that they can delete the page: ,,Visa policy of Artsakh” ? Artsakh does not exist since on 1 January 2024. And it is advisable to remove Artsakh from all articles called: ,,Visa requirements for … citizens”. Thank you. Fridrik2222 (talk) 11:27, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

the visa requirement of Turks and Caicos Islands[edit]

Your edit regarding the visa requirement of Turks and Caicos Islands was reverted from the article of Visa requirements for Russian citizens. Please note that the previous reference was a dead link, which is why I updated it with a valid reference. Additionally, another site provided updated notes about the requirement. Please refer to that site for further information.

Visa requirements for Kosovar citizens[edit]

On the website where visas for Djibouti are issued, when you try to apply for an e-visa, when you try to enter your country's passport, there is no Kosovo on the list: https://www.evisa.gouv.dj/
On the website where visas are issued for travel to DR Congo, when you try to register and apply for an e-visa, Kosovo is not listed: https://evisa.gouv.cd/register
The same applies to Burundi: https://migration.gov.bi/Apply/step1/3
The same applies to Angola: https://www.angola-visa.com/complete-order/fill-submit-and-receive
The same applies to Mozambique: https://www.evisa.gov.mz/
The same applies to Sao Tome and Principe: http://www.smf.st/evisa/evisasteps.php
As for the visa for Papua New Guinea, it is e-Visa, it is also issued to citizens of Kosovo, it costs 50 dollars and is submitted online. With it, it is possible to stay in Papua New Guinea for 60 days. Look and read a little more about the e-visa on the Papua New Guinea website.
For the mentioned countries where entry with a Kosovo passport is prohibited, you can personally contact each embassy or ministry of foreign affairs of the mentioned countries and they will give you the same answer. I can email you answers from certain embassies where I was told that with a Kosovo passport it is not possible to enter Tunisia, Belarus, Syria, Lebanon, etc...--FranéRogoz (talk) 18:13, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
i see. I respect your opinion to some extent.
First of all, I looked again at Papua New Guinea..
Kosovo is not included in the list of e-Visa ‘eligible countries’ on the site.
Check the “Visitors” tab at “https://evisa.ica.gov.pg/evisa/account/apply”.
(In particular, developed countries and Pacific countries are usually given 60 days.)
Countries not included in the target countries must apply for a visa in advance.
And the Botswana, DR Congo, etc. you mentioned.. I think that the fact that Kosovo is not included in these countries means that they do not receive visas, and we are planning to change it to "BLACK".
what do you think? Lades2222 (talk) 17:32, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hello. I received answers from the embassies of Indonesia, Mexico, Namibia and Guatemala regarding the Kosovo passport. None of these countries recognize the passport of Kosovo, so I have changed the data for the mentioned countries.--FranéRogoz (talk) 09:42, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi![edit]

If you don't want me here, I have one favour to ask of you. Please ask the administrators to return my edits of Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Albania, Turkey and Jordan. I thought you were almost satisfied with everything. I tried hard, spent a lot of time, and in the end all my efforts were in vain. I'm getting sick of this madness. I'm going to quit Wikipedia for good, as my labour is not appreciated. Thank you. Denos17 (talk) 11:34, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't know if I can succeed.. but I'll try if the opportunity comes. Thank you. Lades2222 (talk) 12:30, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Lades2222, editing on behalf of banned editors is not allowed and opens up the risk of being blocked yourself. Please disengage from this sockmaster completely.-- Ponyobons mots 20:32, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
PONYO, I just gave a final greeting and a formal response.
What you are saying to me is threatening.
Of course, I have no intention of following DENOSIO's request.
However if there is new content, shouldn't it be edited into different content at some point? Lades2222 (talk) 21:53, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Lades222, my note was not intended to be threatening at all. You responded to a banned editor who is asking you to edit on their behalf, saying that you'll "try if the opportunity comes". I, as the adminstrator and checkuser who has blocked the most recent socks, am only letting you know that such proxy editing isn't allowed on the English Wikipedia, in case you were unaware. I'm not sure what you're asking by "if there is new content, shouldn't it be edited into different content at some point?" but would be happy to reply if you can clarify. -- Ponyobons mots 19:11, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hello. First of all, I apologize for not being deeply familiar with Wikipedia's rules.
I will learn Wikipedia's rules gradually.
And I have a question for you about something new.
Can a personal editor like me create a new page with any topic?
For example.. Collect content (Due to capacity, number of characters, etc.) that is difficult to include on the "XX's policy" page and create it separately as a "XX's policy appendix"..
I am asking this because I am not yet familiar with the rules related to this.
If that is not allowed, please say "No".
And if it is allowed, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the procedure on how to make it.
Thank you. Lades2222 (talk) 23:44, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You certainly can create new articles, but I'm not sure that creating such a subpage of sorts would work. Wikipedia isn't meant to be an indiscriminate collection of information (see WP:INDISCRIMINATE) and it sounds like perhaps an appendix of sorts, as you describe, would be overly-detailed. The editors at Wikipedia:Help desk may have advice to give is well, if you'd like to pose your questions there.-- Ponyobons mots 23:56, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

br tags[edit]

Thanks for your work on the visa articles! Please try to avoid inserting unnecessary <br> tags in the article (like in this rev). If you are using the visual editor, chances are you pressed ⇧ Shift+↵ Enter instead of ↵ Enter. NM 02:59, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

< b r / > is necessary for the readability of the paragraph. Lades2222 (talk) 03:02, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In this case you want two line breaks \n or you will not get the <p> tag with the right margin. Do not use line breaks to simulate paragraphs, because they have different semantics (WP:ACCESS). Using <br> is circumventing the style necessary for accessibility. NM 06:14, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Please don't just tell me not to do something, but tell me what to do about it. Lades2222 (talk) 06:21, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Two line breaks, which means one empty line between paragraphs. The renderer will automatically create the paragraphs and the right line breaks for you. NM 06:24, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I definitely need a line break. If I don't need "br", what tag(?) can I use? Lades2222 (talk) 06:26, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just press the ↵ Enter key twice? NM 06:27, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The gap is too big. The reason I use br is because it allows me to shorten the spacing. Lades2222 (talk) 06:29, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The spacing is adjustible. If the gap is too big for you, put the text .mw-body p { margin: 0.4em 0 0.4em 0; } in your custom CSS file here (red link because you don't have a userstyle yet). NM 06:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hello..!? We can't apply styles to every paragraph. It makes the paragraph complicated. Lades2222 (talk) 06:39, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Which message are you replying to exactly? NM 06:43, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
oh? You seem conservative a little. I just changed the location because the answers keep going to the side. Lades2222 (talk) 06:47, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Let me say it again. We can't apply styles (CSS) to each paragraph. It's difficult work and makes the paragraph more complicated. Lades2222 (talk) 06:50, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
First of all, this is how to correctly dedent a talk page.
You can absolutely apply styles to each paragraph. I already told you how in my message regarding creating your userstyle. Please see my message above. NM 06:54, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's difficult for me. hello, Please provide a link to an example. Lades2222 (talk) 06:57, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Click on the red link, copy and paste the text I gave you, and save it. NM 07:00, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
About the practice in the link you provided.. I actually don't understand it very well.
So I would thankful it if you could directly implement on this answer. Lades2222 (talk) 07:07, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I don't have permission to edit things in your userspace. Which part do you not understand? Press this link: PRESS ME, copy this: .mw-body p { margin: 0.4em 0 0.4em 0; }, paste it in the box, and press the blue save/publish button. NM 07:11, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I tried to "preview" it by adding ".mw-body p { margin: 0.4em 0 0.4em 0; }", but... ".mw-body p { margin: 0.4em 0 0.4em 0; }" itself It was returned as a text. Lades2222 (talk) 07:16, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This is expected. It affects you the apperance sitewide for you (but you need to save it first). NM 07:19, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I hope you apply the CSS to "Visa policy of the United Kingdom". I will look at it. Lades2222 (talk) 07:47, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You asked me how. I gave you two options and you refused both of them. I'm not sure how much of a help I can be at this point.
The margin between paragraphs exist for a reason. The <br> tag is famously bad for screen readers (see #1, #2, #3) as an alternative to actual paragraphs. If you want the gap to appear smaller for you, I have already explained how above. NM 08:00, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Rather than explaining it to me... I'd like you to demonstrate it yourself on the "Visa policy of the United Kingdom" page. Lades2222 (talk) 08:02, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We are not going to modify the sitewide CSS just because one editor wants the margin to be smaller. That is the job of userstyles, which I have explained above. This will only affect the appearance of the page for you.
Like I have already said, I do not have permission to edit things in your userspace. If you are still unwilling to do that, I'm afraid there's not much I can do. NM 08:16, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It seems to me like you are saying that it is difficult to demonstrate CSS yourself. Then you have no authority to command me, “Don’t do this.” I have already been hurt by you. Lades2222 (talk) 08:20, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Reread my second paragraph. I cannot change your userstyle just like I can't change your phone wallpaper. This is how the site permission is set up. You need to be doing that yourself.
This is the third time I have to explain this. NM 08:29, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Say it again. Go to the "Visa policy of the United Kingdom" page and see for yourself how you can replace BR with CSS. Lades2222 (talk) 08:38, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Which part of "I do not have permission to change a setting on your account" do you not understand? NM 08:39, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Then.. I will revert back "Visa policy of the United Kingdom" page contents. then , please edit the CSS that replaces BR. Lades2222 (talk) 08:43, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's a 3RR and can get you topic blocked from visa related articles. NM 08:44, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Anyway, you go directly to "page" and show me the CSS edits for the spacing. Lades2222 (talk) 08:46, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This is the fifth time I'm telling you that you need to do that yourself because I don't have permission to edit your settings (and neither does anyone else). So far I'm seeing a complete refusal from you, with no explanation or even acknowledgement on what I said whatsoever.
Note that I'm not obligated whatsoever to teach you how to use the site. I did it because I wanted to help. And quite frankly, I wish I hadn't. NM 08:58, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Unfortunately you have hurt me a lot. You have ignored my contributions and have threatened me with commands such as "don’t do this." Lades2222 (talk) 09:03, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The "don't do this" is quoted verbatim from the official Manual of Style, which you can find by clicking on the link in the original message. I am not the author of the guideline, so you're barking at the wrong tree. If you are a non-native English speaker: this is fairly normal and neutral language for a guide book.
Either way, you already know how to add your own userstyle to make the margin appear smaller. If you don't want to do it, well, it's not my problem. NM 09:11, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
From the beginning, the fact that you came to my room was a threat to me. Should I follow your orders? Lades2222 (talk) 09:15, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm not sure how to interpret that you consider the mere act of coming to leave a message a "threat". Wikipedia is a collaborative project where communication is required. It's the norm to talk on other editors' talk page. NM 09:37, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It is best not to interfere with each other. Lades2222 (talk) 09:38, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Communication on Wikipedia is, in fact, not optional.
I don't think this is going anywhere, so let's talk over WP:DRN or WP:ANI instead. NM 09:42, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry but I have nothing more to say to you. Let's not interfere with each other. Lades2222 (talk) 09:43, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
