Please read WP:CANVASS. We discourage editors from seeking an editor to agree with them during a discussion. When you need more opinions to determine a consensus there are more neutral ways of doing that. As a matter of fact, why did you reach out to Cullen328? If you're a new editor (and that's a big if), he hadn't been part of the discussion on that talk page so I'm curious how you would know him. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:40, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
New editor 2, your insistence at Talk:Adolf Hitler is becoming disruptive. After some five editors have responded to your proposed version of the lede, and have basically all said that it's too long and the present brief lede is better, you propose a change which consists only of lengthening your original proposal with the phrase "promoted fascism and militarism over Nazi Germany" in the second sentence.[1] I had some trouble even finding the difference from your original proposal. I'm sure you're not actually trying to wear people out, but it's bound to have that effect. Please take a look at WP:REHASH and respect the fact that consensus is against you. I'm saying this purely as an admin; I'm not going to offer an opinion on the different variants of lede — I don't have one — but I object to bludgeoning the talkpage in the way you have been doing. Please stop insisting. Bishonen | talk 23:01, 28 June 2017 (UTC).
