Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Scottrouse. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article World News Media, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

If you believe the material is defamatory, please follow the instructions on this page(click the link). Note that merely being negative information is not necessarily defamatory; as long as information appears in an independent reliable source, it can be in a Wikipedia article. 331dot (talk) 09:56, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

World News Media - conflict of interest[edit]

Your first edit summary for World News Media states, "Page contained defamatory content, broad edits were made to include information about the B2B magazines we produce instead" [my emphasis]. A quick internet search for "Scott Rouse" reveals that a Scott Rouse works for World News Media. Could you please read our COI policies, and maake a declaration before editing the World News Media article again. You should only be making suggestions on its talkpage, not editing the article directly. Edwardx (talk) 11:03, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

User:AmazingCheque81[edit]

I was wondering if you are aware of the activities of User:AmazingCheque81, who has been creating Wikipedia articles about many of your company's magazines, including Business Destinations, World Finance, The New Economy Magazine, World Finance Magazine, and Business Destinations Magazine. These have all been deleted - please see User talk:AmazingCheque81 for more details. Edwardx (talk) 14:11, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
