Cheadle[edit]

I am sorry but I think it unlikely that Air Raid in Cheadle Stockport would ever be accepted here, even if you were to re-write it in your own words. Howevere, recording air raid victims on a war memorial is very notable, but that can go in the Cheadle article.

You may care to note Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/West Runton War Memorial. Stavros1 gave a very sour response in it. You could contact Stavros, console him and co-operate on war memorial stuff (preferably off Wikipedia!). -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 21:03, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, your attitude seems defiant, so straight to AfD. In case you submit something encyclopedic in future, please note: a) we do not sign Wikipedia articles, b) REDIRECT has a special usage, we do not use it when creating links, c) Cheadle is ambiguous, we need a piped link. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 21:10, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just as a matter of interest, what was the point of this edit? Was the link incorrect? -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 21:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Air Raid in Cheadle Stockport[edit]

An editor has nominated Air Raid in Cheadle Stockport, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Air Raid in Cheadle Stockport and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ohdo Syndrome[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ohdo Syndrome, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.seville44.fsnet.co.uk/page4.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. War memorials[edit]

Just to show that I have nothing against war memorials in their proper place, I have put together a little gallery here with you and Stavros1 in mind. Incidentally, roll-of-honour.com has nothing about Cheadle. I am sure they would love you to help. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 11:26, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
