Jerry Markham appears to fail the notability requirements of WP:ACADEMIC and Wikipedia's general notability requirements. An academic is notable if he/she is "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to be worthy of notice, as evidenced by being the subject of significant coverage in independent reliable secondary sources." Markham may well be interesting, but there are not enough independent reliable secondary sources to warrant notability. In short, there are not enough people talking or writing about him.
