The result was Keep. The article is much improved, and as the proposer I am prepared to withdraw the nomination; since the Afd has run its full course I see no possible conflict of interest in doing this as nobody else has argued for deletion. Rodhullandemu 23:38, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Contested PROD. No assertion of notability within WP:CREATIVE; one cult film is inadequate for this, and article lacks reliable sources per WP:BLP. • Keep per WP:CREATIVE, he is the creator of a well known work. "atomic cafe" was well known in its time, recieving significant coverage, which im pretty sure i can find. the article does need to be massively trimmed back, and should only list other significant movies directed by him.If kept, i will trim the article, but wont bother until decision is made.   • As a sidenote: Not wishing to wait for an AfD to finish judgement of an article that can so easily be improved, and even though AFD is not supposed to be for forcing cleanup, I have begun doing just that. There is much available in multiple reliable sources for this subject to meet WP:GNG and the subordinant WP:BIO.
