Keep - We have articles for Ritz-Carlton and other hotels that are far less notable than this one. Not a good article as of yet, but it needs editing, not deletion. Zachlipton (talk) 06:50, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Delete appears to be notable for a single-event 2009 Jakarta bombings so the little content could just be mentioned in the bombing article. MilborneOne (talk) 21:38, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - Even before the bombing, it was the subject of independent reliable sources, like The Jakarta Post[1][2] and Bisnis Indonesia[3], the core criteria of WP:NOTABILITY. A hotel of this stature opening during a time of tremendous economic growth demonstrates a historic economic turning point of this nation.--Oakshade (talk) 09:07, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - "a historic economic turning point of this nation" - a bit over the top wouldn't you say. There have been a large number of hotels opening in recent years in Jakarta. Either there's lots of history being made or they aren't any more notable than this one ;-) Davidelit (talk) 12:37, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
