The result was delete. There is consensus here that the sources uncovered do not establish the notability of the topic.  Skomorokh, barbarian  02:15, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reason the page should be deleted Not notable. Per WP:GNG, topic has not received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject in order to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article. If anything this should be given a paragraph in the Strength Training article. Yankees76 (talk) 17:46, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: It should be noted that links to blogs, forums and other original research are not considered reliable sources by Wikipedia standards, and that some of those links don't even mention StrongLifts. This AFD is not about the "5x5" program.--Yankees76 (talk) 15:38, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: What i mean is that if the article is deleted, do you think that an article about the general 5x5 program is a notable enough weight training methodology? Portillo (talk) 21:27, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
