The result of the discussion was: delete. Given that the comment advocating listifying before deletion specified that once the pages were properly categorized the list "can probably also be deleted", and given Hyperik's response below, I don't think a full list in mainspace is needed, but I have pasted a list of all pages currently in the category on the talk page. Nominator's rationale: WikiProject Plants doesn't categorize articles by rank species. The lowest rank we use is genus. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Plants/Categorization#Taxonomic rank categories for more details. — Hyperik talk 21:09, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I did a lot of spot checking before the nom and every article I had checked was already placed in its appropriate taxonomic category. —Hyperik talk 04:59, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge. MER-C 20:17, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: These appear (at least which articles they could include) to be the same thing. Consistency with other continents. DexDor (talk) 21:01, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
For info: Of the 6 previous editors of the category 4 (including the creator) are now blocked. DexDor (talk) 21:38, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Why delete rather than merge? DexDor (talk) 06:27, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't thinking clearly, changed to merge. Plantdrew (talk) 17:33, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge to Category:Religious leaders in Ireland. In this case there is already an intermediate Category:Christian religious leaders in Ireland so I will leave the contents in that one. – Fayenatic London 07:38, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Only content is Category:Christian clergy in Ireland Rathfelder (talk) 16:12, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • In everyday language, clergy may also include rabbis and lamas. The concepts of clergy and religious leader are very similar for some people and rather different for other people (the latter especially occurs within Christianity). Just as an illustration, read Clergy. Personally I would be okay with merging all top level categories to Category:Clergy and religious leaders, Category:Christian clergy and religious leaders etc., while keeping e.g. Category:Catholic clergy for specific churches/denominations - but probably we will not reach consensus about that. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:56, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's to be expected that Category:Religious workers in foo country will be less well populated. Once bishops are eliminated (e.g. in the Category:Religious leaders in Ireland) then, practically speaking, that only leaves nuns since theologians and other workers do not have a remit that is confined to a geographic territory, hence they are usually defined by nationality instead of the territory in which they mainly work. Category:Australian subscription television series

The result of the discussion was: delete. MER-C 17:29, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: This category is not really a defining category for a TV series. It's located only in Category:Australian television series by network, which itself has the same network categories. Despite being created in 2009, there aren't any other countries that have this category, which means that other editors don't find this sort of categorization useful either.
