This non-free image is stated to be a logo but is in fact a collage of logos being used in the infobox for identification. The use of a single logo in the infobox would be acceptable but the use of multiple logos even if it is in a single image runs afoul of WP:NFCC#3a. Whpq (talk) 13:43, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This "cast photo" is a composite of three different scenes used in the Cast section of Stranded (2001 film). The fair use rationale states its purpose is "The image is used for identification of the main actors that appear in the movie, i.e. in the context of critical commentary of the movie. The image is placed in the Cast section the article discussing the work, Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to film concerns and in turn marketing films to the public.", which is not a valid fair use. There is no critical commentary of the individual screenshots or the composite image itself in the article, it does nothing to increase the reader's understanding of the film and its exclusion is not detrimental to the understanding of the film, thereby failing WP:NFCC#8. This "spacecraft image" is a composite of two different scenes used in the Cast section of Stranded (2001 film). The fair use rationale states its purpose is "The image is used for identification of the spacecraft that appears in the movie, i.e. in the context of critical commentary of the movie. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to film concerns and in turn marketing films to the public.", which is not a valid fair use. This cover isn't discussed critically and isn't remarkably different from the standard one. Fails WP:NFCC#8, pending any discussion of the re-release's design, etc. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:39, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
