Commons - which has a larger version under this name - assumes that this logo isn't copyrightable because Somalia does not have copyright laws. If we agree with this the local file should be deleted. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:11, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Somalia does have copyright laws, but isn't subject to Berne, but everything else here is otherwise correct, and I'd second this. SportingFlyerT·C 22:42, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Um, if Somalia has copyright laws, would this image be PD under their terms? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 13:03, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's very unclear, since there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to enforce copyright there at this time. See [1]. SportingFlyerT·C 09:33, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

A static image is preferred to an animation per WP:IUP#ANIM, especially when the file in question is non-free content. Utilizing a single frame from the file would be sufficient to illustrate the gameplay (WP:NFCC#3). – The Grid (talk) 21:49, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Delete and replace with static image. There's basically no commentary for this gameplay screenshot. enjoyer -- talk 04:10, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Keep -- the file is used for the commentary about "terrain traversal speed and fluidity" which obviously can't be achieved with only a static image. Although only showing one type of landscape instead of four will suffice. enjoyer -- talk 04:05, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can provide the commentary without the media. Wikipedia is not a game guide. An article about a game should briefly summarize the story and the main actions the player performs in the game. Also, there's limited accessibility for anything more complex than a static image, explicitly MOS:ANIMATION. – The Grid (talk) 00:20, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Describing a gameplay mechanic and providing a moving visual depicting said mechanic are not a game guide, per my comment above. enjoyer -- talk 04:13, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Keep It is a miniscule animation of a few seconds, so saying that it violates fair use is a stretch. Video clips and animations are absolutely allowed under fair use if they have a descriptive purpose. However, converting it to video would be preferable as a GIF is distracting.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 10:52, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Keep -- the file's commentary is "the player character using a "Rift Tether" to quickly warp between areas". Static image won't be able to depict the warping mechanism. enjoyer -- talk 04:16, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
