Wellington Meetup 2 September 2023[edit]

Venue[edit]

The group meet in the Programmes Room located on the ground floor of the National Library just behind the main reception area. Group to ensure that the room is left how we found it including table and chair locations.

Also supported an Australian editor with work on Draft:Forestry Building, Hobart. Made major improvements to Haast, New Zealand. Also prepared Draft:Simon Keller about a professor and head of department at Victoria University. Helped with some preparatory work for the forthcoming West Coast Wikipedian at Large project being led by Giantflightlessbirds. Also working with Wainuiomartian on further improvements to articles about Wellington Harbour and the port. Also doing admin work for WANZ.

3. Progress on Action Points and future events

Don't forget to add your program to the Campaign Dashboard. The Dashboard is a key tracking tool for reporting back to Wikimedia Foundation and will help us ensure that we get funding in future years. 4. Good Article / Featured Article Work

Our focus article was: Matiu / Somes Island. It has now passed GA :). With many thanks to the nominator Wainuiomartian and GA reviewer Jonathanischoice.
