Same disruption on articles related to Afghan-Sikh Wars and interest in this area. A confirmed sock of Kamal Afghan01 attempted prior to single-handedly change the result of a battle to 'Afghan victory', this new account attempts to do the same shortly after the prior account was blocked. Diffs: [1] and [2]

The timings of the account creation compared to the bans of the known socks are suspicious. Also, look at the overlap.

I have added a check user request for this one. I think the evidence is good enough to justify use of a checkuser. If there is going to be a checkuser used for the other suspected socks, the checkuser might just as well do this one too.-- Toddy1 (talk) 15:18, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I was told to post my request here by administrator. There are more new sock accounts are Shiva912[3], Semijan0[4] of sockmaster Kamal Afghan01 [5]. Battle of Bannu was created by sockmaster Kamal Afghan01 and his guranteed newly created sock account Shiva912 has shown interest on this page with similar editing patterns as that of his sockmaster. Shiva912, an account created on 25 August 2023 created a new page Malik Dilasa Khan which was a draft and just like his previous editing habits, he moved page Draft:Malik Dilasa Khan to Malik Dilasa Khan [6]. This habit is similar to what blocked sock account Surajsingh09 [7] of sockmaster Kamal Afghan01 did. (Surajsingh09 also moved a draft page as regular article, originally created by sock master Kamal Afghan01. It was reverted back to draft by admin after the indef block of sockmaster but Surajsingh09 moved it back again. See here.[8]).

While creating Malik Dilasa Khan, he also added exact same content from first paragraph of Battle of Bannu. This is another account that is very curious, Semijan0 [9] because after account Shiva912 moved the page from Draft:Malik Dilasa Khan to Malik Dilasa Khan, Semijan0 went ahead and removed all the AFC draft tags from article Malik Dilasa Khan as seen here [10]. Semijan0 was created on 18 August 2023.

These two accounts are also very dubious as they are making same edits to the two pages created by sockmaster. These accounts are Shanglapar[11] created on 26 August 2023 and Naruto Muslim[12], created on 29 July 2023. The editing pattern is same here as well [13], [14] where the accounts just picks random unreliable and unverified sources to support the page.
Not sure if its sock or meatpuppetry but account Pukhtun zalmai[15] has taken sudden interest on article Battle of Bannu and especially Malik Dilasa Khan right after it was created as draft. Might want to look into this as well.
Battle of Bannu article is full on unreliable sources and failed verification and along with Malik Dilasa Khan which too follows same pattern, these two pages should be deleted, created by sock accounts. 170.170.200.151 (talk) 01:17, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pranamsingh01 [16] account created on 10 August 2023, similar user name as that of one of the many sock of Kamal Afghan01, Surajsingh09 [17], also showed interest in the article Malik Dilasa Khan, right after it was created as a draft.[18]. On article Bannu District Pranamsingh01 also added same source and content that was used by other suspected sockpuppet of Kamal Afghan01, Shiva912 [19], [20]. Its quite obvious with the similar interest in same pages, sources and content, especially that of a draft which isn't event been reviewed or accepted yet.199.81.206.159 (talk) 16:47, 1 September 2023 (UTC) 199.81.206.159 (talk) 16:47, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

same article overlap and edits done by sock farm of Kamal Afghan01 and creating frivolous articles that was done by Kamal Afghan01. Ambela campaign, Waziristan campaign (1936–1939), Article edited by most sock accounts of Kamal Afghan01, Qumandan, Semijan0 and now done by Leviathan12 and Monabhaii. 2601:547:B00:D373:613C:D03A:DCD9:EE6A (talk) 16:11, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note that to prevent this investigation Suthasianhistorian8 is falsely calling me sock and even deleted this request to prevent sock investigation going as far as deleting this investigation [21]. He needs to stop harassment and such disruptive behaviour.2601:547:B00:D373:613C:D03A:DCD9:EE6A (talk) 16:27, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This user is HaughtinBrit block evading. He was recently harassing the user Leviathian12, both as a sock account on Ponyo's talk page-[22] + accusing the user of sockpuppetry in his edit summaries and hence abusing WP:DENY policy-2601:547:B00:E453:0:0:0:0/65 (talk+ · tag · contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RBLs · proxy check · block user · spi block · block log · cross-wiki contribs · CheckUser (log)), leading to this ANI report-[23].

Please also note HaughtonBrit IP block logs-[24] and [25] and his earlier block evading intervention in earlier SPI cases-[26]. Note all the 2601:547 IPs in July and now January of this year.

Admins should under no circumstances endorse this harassement, bullying and intimidation by complying with this SPI. Southasianhistorian8 (talk) 16:20, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was waiting that this investigation will be removed but it is still here and I am thinking that it's because the administrators believe this request which has caused me stress. I forgot my account password Khan dildar and I am messaging like this because I want to clear things up. In our culture we live in big joint family under one roof and there are many wiki editors in my family like my brother and cousins here Leviathan12, Monabhaii and Abdullah7922. Kamal Afghan01 my cousin was blocked for creating multiple accounts but this is not true. It was many family in same household and because Western people do not understand our culture, they think one person is all the same. I request administration people to remove this request. I hope understanding is clear. 196.205.84.6 (talk) 18:14, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The IP above is a proxy-https://spur.us/context/196.205.84.6. HaughtonBrit has been extensively using proxies as of late to troll, harass and intimidate users. I strongly believe that this is just another one of HaughtonBrit's tricks to try to get admins to speedily conduct a check and block the users. Such deception and trolling is certainly not out of the blue for him, believe me, I have been dealing with him since October 2021, and HaughtonBrit has to been one of the most bizzare trolls on this site. Southasianhistorian8 (talk) 20:47, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
HaughtonBrit has impersonated people, including admins before, he created an account called AtmaramU, solely to troll and get a kick out of harassing an admin whom he was having a disagreement with-HauhgtonBrit, as usual, wanted to include inflated casualty figures that his co-religionists inflicted on the Afghans while admin utcurush pointed out that the sources he was using were unreliable.
See [27]- "After posting here, the anon created an account impersonating me (User:UAtmaram), and added a few other sources to the article. " You can note that in the RSN, HaughtonBrit was also using proxies. Southasianhistorian8 (talk) 20:56, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
thankful for the support my brother but I do not need help. 196.204.25.133 (talk) 06:45, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, admins should note that this IP is claiming to be Khan dildar who supposedly forgot his password despite editing from it just 14 days ago, even though he has been intermittently using his account for 4 months (Aug 2023-Jan 2024). Seems pretty sketchy. Southasianhistorian8 (talk) 08:01, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Should also note that a user who was very likely a sock or meat puppet of HB, Jaagit, who filed a SPI against me trying to get me blocked, with a very similar writing style as HB, was using the same "I forgot my password tactic"-[28]. Southasianhistorian8 (talk) 08:07, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I already said that I do not need help. Now you against me? You are trying to make my request look bad. I am Khan dildar and I give good reason and I do not want my brothers to get blocked for some bad confusion. 197.161.35.74 (talk) 00:41, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vanamonde, the "mudslinging" you describe, disregarding the Egyptian IPs as that whole situation seems extremely suspicious, are literal statements of facts describing how the 2601:547 IPs are confirmed HaughtonBrit socks who were literally harassing Leviathan12 right before this SPI was made-[29], [30]- Drmies commented on the block-"I blocked a /64 range for, basically, harassment and disruption that seems to me to be consistent with the BritHaughton socks, but that's about all I can do right now." An actual effort to read the warnings or at least become somewhat familiar with HaughtonBrit's SPI case should have been undertaken prior to implicitly condoning a blocked user's rampant and quite frankly shameless block evasion, and I do not say that lightly.
