Description[edit]

This WikiProject will be for month articles such as January 1900 in Category:Months in the 1900s, as well as the list of all existing month articles at List of months by year. This category currently has 671 pages and the goal is to increase this to 1200 pages, one for every month from January 1900 to December 1999. The months from January 1997 to December 1999 currently reside in Portal space per discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years/Archive 11#Using archives of Portal:Current events for month articles, but sometime in the future, we can have those be in the article namespace again with more events and references to fill the missing days. Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
I want a separate group because there are 671 month pages and WikiProject Time, WikiProject Years, WikiProject Lists, and WikiProject History include lots of articles such as 2014 in Afghanistan that would be irrelevant to this project, so the month articles should be separated out.
