The judging of the contest will be point-based, the individuals (top 3) with the highest points will be awarded the prizes. The scoring system for the winners would be as follows:
- Five points (5.0) would be awarded for every new article translated.
- Five points (5.0) would be awarded for every newly created article about the thematic topics on Fulfulde Wikipedia.
- Five points (5.0) would be awarded for newly created item on Wikidata, two and half points (2.5) for improved item on Wikidata.
- One point (1.0) for every quality source or citation used in a new Fulfulde Wikipedia article and Wikidata item.
- Two points (2.0) for quality and cleanliness of articles (includes using the appropriate intonations, grammar, etc.)
- List articles created, translated or improved on or before 11:59pm 25 May, 2023
