The 1988 Croke Cup was the 37th staging of the Croke Cup since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1944. The competition ran from 24 April to 8 May 1988.
St Flannan's College were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Midleton CBS in the Harty Cup semi-final.[1][2]
The final was played on 8 May 1988 at Walsh Park in Waterford, between St Kieran's College and Midleton CBS, in what was their first ever meeting in the final.[3] St Kieran's College won the match by 3–10 to 2–07 to claim their eighth Croke Cup title overall and a first title in 13 years.[4][5]
