2024 D1 Grand Prix Series is a 24th season of D1 Grand Prix drifting competition set to be started in May 10 at Okuibuki Motorpark and ended between November 10 or 17 November in yet to be announced venue. The series is run by D1GP committee under Japanese Automobile Federation (JAF) official semi-national competition format.
Hideyuki Fujino is the defending champion in both Overall and Single run championship.[1]

The pre-qualifying system is set to be reintroduced which also mean the reintroduction of seeded drivers, the system was last used in 2018 season. As of result, the event date will be extended to 3 days as supposed to previous 2 days excluding the official practice day.
Regulation regarding competition time-out, non-sponsor tire manufacturer exposure, tire preasure and several other regulation is under revision.[3]
