Akhila Sasidharan is an Indian film actress, television anchor and dancer.
She was born in Kozhikode, Kerala and had her education from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School, Kozhikode. She rose to fame after she became the runnerup in Vodafone Thakadhimi, a dance reality show screened in Asianet in 2008. She then became an anchor in the popular music reality show, Munch Star Singer Juniour, again screened in Asianet. Being a lover of Bharatanatyam, she has got years of training in the same. She is now debutting as an actress through Karyasthan, starring Dileep, which is to be released in 2010.
