Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room is a live-performance EP by musician Alicia Keys, recorded exclusively for Apple Music in Apple Immersive Video.[1] It was recorded using spatial audio and spatial video to coincide with Apple's debut of its Apple Vision Pro. Consumers can watch the video in 3D on Apple TV+ while using the Apple Vision Pro.[2] The performance, a three-song rehearsal set, was recorded in early 2023 and released the following year.[3] The rehearsal was in preparation for Keys' tour of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico City in May and June 2023.
Keys is joined by her supporting band,[4] composed of Garrison Brown (drums), Dammo Farmer (bass), Khyrie Tyler (keyboards), Curt Chambers (guitar and background vocals) and Norelle Simpson (background vocals), with whom she interacts for a few minutes between each song.
The tracks performed are "No One", "If I Ain't Got You" and "You Don't Know My Name".[5] An edited and resequenced version of the performance was released on Apple Music, including a 34-second 2D video of "No One", which—unlike the Immersive content—was recorded with a handheld camera.[6] The spatial-video cameras were housed in four white speakers around the studio.[4]
