There are currently seventeen dormitories which house first-year students at Harvard College. Thirteen of them, Canaday, Grays, Hollis, Holworthy, Lionel, Massachusetts Hall, Matthews, Mower, Stoughton, Straus, Thayer, Weld and Wigglesworth are located in Harvard Yard. The four others, Apley Court, Greenough, Hurlbut and Pennypacker are located just outside Harvard Yard.
