Celeste Maryel Espino Mendoza (born 9 August 2003),[1] is a Mexican professional football goalkeeper who currently plays for Guadalajara of the Liga MX Femenil.[2][3][4][5][6] The team, with Espino as an important figure, won a league for a second time in the 2021–22 Liga MX Femenil season. As of 2021[update] Espino also plays for the Mexico women's national under-20 football team and was selected for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.[7][8]
Espino began playing for Guadalajara during the inaugural season of Liga MX Femenil.[9]
