Colorado Film is a film production company founded by Maurizio Totti, Gabriele Salvatores, and Diego Abatantuono in 1986. The company develops its business in film and television production, art management, publishing, and music. It is the main subsidiary of Gruppo Iven S.p.A. (the Iven Group).
On 26 July 2017, Rainbow S.p.A. (an Italian studio co-owned by Iginio Straffi and Viacom) acquired a majority stake in Gruppo Iven, bringing Colorado Film under its control. The acquisition made Colorado Film a part of Viacom International Media Networks Italia (now known as Paramount Networks Italia).[2][3]
In June 2022, Rainbow purchased the remaining stakes in Colorado, bringing its ownership to 100%.[4]
