The 2024 North East Olympic Games (2024NEOG) is the 3rd session of the tournament.being held in Nagaland the CM inaugurates the event at 19th March 2024[1].

Over 3000 Athletes from 8 States of North-East India has participated while 15 Disciplines helding in 12 venue across three districts of Nagaland,Chumoukedima, Dimapur and Kohima[1]. some game involved in this competition are Archery, Athletics, Badminton Basketball, Boxing, football, lawn tennis, Pencak Silat, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, And Wushu[1].
As the competition is ongoing the final result is not declared yet but on the first day of the event Host Nagaland started their campaign on a high note with a victory over Tripura 1-nil in the first opening Football match being played at the Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre in Chumukedima. Meanwhile, in the Sepaktakraw Men’s event, Manipur also registered their win over Mizoram[1].
