Hayman Homer (born April 26, 1990) is an American actor and Film producer of Kurdish descent[1][2].
He is most noted for his leading role performance as Jesus Christ in the upcoming 2024 epic historical film The Messiah for which he is recognized as the first Kurd to take on this iconic character[2]. Hayman also stars as a war medic in the 2024 war drama short film Aman[2].
Hayman hails from a Kurdish family, his heritage traces back to the Principality of Soran, he was born in Erbil[3], an ancient city immersed in urban history and culture. after finishing high school, he has lived in various countries such as Kurdistan, Greece, Italy, France and England. His father, Homer Eli, a member of the Kurdish Peshmerga Intelligence Forces, gave his life for Kurdish Independence[1][2]. After the loss of his father at the age of 10, he was raised by his single mother, Bediah Azeez, alongside his seven siblings - five brothers and two sisters.
Hayman moved to the United States in 2017[4][5] and first settled in Nashville, Tennessee[3][1]
Hayman obtained a bachelor's degree in political science and international relations from Salahaddin University[4]. Hayman's passion for film led him to pursue further studies in acting and film at the 4th Wall Acting Studio and Nashville Acting Studio in Nashville, Tennessee[2].
Hayman started out as a model and appeared as the face of ‘The Escape Game’ commercial in 2018 that put his face on billboards in major malls across America[4]. He also got casted in multiple country and Hollywood music videos, before transitioning to film[4].

Hayman’s leading role movie began with the portrayal of Jesus Christ in ‘The Messiah’. Principal filming began on December 2023 in Columbia, Tennessee with JMC Studios. Hayman wrapped up Aman, his second war drama short film (Aman) in Adairsville, Georgia On November 2023.
Hayman’s latest commercial work, with Philip Morris International in Los Angeles, California, will be distributed throughout Europe and the Middle East.
