Olango Proscovia is an academician and researcher in the field of computer science. She currently holds the position of a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at Gulu University, an institution located in Gulu, Uganda. With a passion for computer science and a commitment to advancing knowledge, Dr. Olango has dedicated her career to educating and inspiring the next generation of computer scientists in Gulu university. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas within the discipline, including algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and software engineering.

Dr. Proscovia Olango was born on the 22nd of November, 1973 in Gulu City, Uganda. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Makerere University in 1998. She also has a Master of Arts Degree in Information Science and a PhD of Systems, Organizations and Management (SOM) Research School from the University of Groningen. Proscovia is currently Head of the Department of Computer Science at Gulu University and an ICT lecturer[1]
