Founded in 1946 by employees of Dubuque Tractor Works, DuTrac Community Credit Union is a Dubuque, Iowa-based not-for-profit cooperative financial institution.[1] DuTrac serves 34 counties in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. DuTrac Community Credit Union has been ranked in the top 1% of credit unions by Callahan & Associates in 2014.[2] DuTrac is ranked by the DepositAccounts as the 5th largest credit union in Iowa. It is also the 419th largest credit union in the United States[3]. DuTrac is governed by a volunteer board, according to the National Credit Union Administration.[4] Member deposits up to $250,000 at DuTrac are insured through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
