East Barron is a rural locality in the Tablelands Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census East Barron had a population of 234 people.[1]
The Malanda–Atherton Road runs through from east to west.[3]
East Barron State School opened on 28 April 1915 and closed on 1964.[4][5] It was at 331 East Barron Road (17°19′25″S 145°31′49″E / 17.32364°S 145.53029°E).[6][7][8]
