Edward Adderley Stopford (1810–1874) was an Irish Anglican[1] priest.[2]
The son of Edward Stopford,[3] Bishop of Meath from 1842 to 1850,[4] he was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.[5] He held incumbencies at Caledon[6] and Kells.[7] He was Archdeacon of Meath from 1844;[8] and Vicar general of Meath from 1848:[9][10] holding both offices until his death.
His wife Anne died on 13 June 1891.[11] Their daughter Alice Stopford Green was an Irish historian.[12]
